Permission to Sparkle

Don't let anyone dull your sparkle....seems pretty simple, but do we live this mantra every day?

It's Monday, shouldn't we be complaining about how tired we are? It's Friday, shouldn't we commiserate over what a long week it has been? It's cold, it's snowing, it's hot, it's raining. Let's all come together over our mutual distaste for the current weather situation.

Have you ever been in a realllllly good mood, for good reason, or for no reason at all....and then sort of brought your energy down to match the moods of those around you? Why do we do this to ourselves? Aren't we allowed to be happy instead of complain all of the time?

The sun is shining, I had just enough coffee creamer for one last cup, my car started, I'm having a good hair day, traffic was light, I found a dollar in my jacket pocket, someone held the door for me.

It's ok to celebrate the little things. In fact, it's encouraged!

Don't let anyone dull your sparkle. In fact, go ahead and rub some glitter on your neighbor.
